In order to view the help file, you will have to install WinHlp32.exe in Windows 10 for which you can follow our instructions from – how to open WinHelp. The first one is the program and the second one is the help file. The downloaded file is just a ZIP archive containing the essential files to run WinDiff – one of them is windiff.exe and another is windiff.hlp. Since WinDiff is no longer available from Microsoft’s website or other distribution platforms, you have to procure it from a third party site which is also home to some of the very advanced file comparison tools.
